This one day course is an opportunity for senior and middle leaders to plan their school’s strategic development by focusing on the integration of learning technologies.
The event will help you to work towards producing a strategic plan to address the development needs of your school. You will be encouraged to explore options for the future and to share learning, ideas and concepts with other participants. You will be able to focus on the importance of your role and that of your colleagues in the successful implementation of technology for learning in your school.
Attendance at the event will allow schools to:
• undertake a self-assessment of their current position • receive advice and guidance to produce an effective strategic plan • examine the key issues relating to the leadership and management of the implementation of the vision • understand some of the approaches other schools have taken in this area • reflect critically and produce an action plan as a team
Who is this event open to?The course has been designed for both teams and individuals. It is preferable if at least two delegates per school attend. If possible the team should consist of senior and middle leaders who between them have responsibility for both the strategic leadership and the integration of learning technologies.
You will leave the course having considered the potential for transforming the learning of the 21st century student that is offered through the successful integration of new technologies.

Booking information – including early booking discount For affiliates the workshop costs £75 for the first person if you book before 31 July 2008. If you book after this date, the workshop costs £100 for the first person. For non-affiliates the workshop costs £150 for the first person (there is no early booking discount as this is a benefit for affiliates of iNet Wales only). For both affiliates and non-affiliates, it costs £50 per person for each additional delegate.
