The first iNet Wales National Conference is a celebration of the achievements of schools in Wales and an opportunity to explore school-based innovation taking place nationally. The conference agenda has been designed to include thought-provoking keynote and workshop sessions as a starting point for discussions on leading effective and innovative schools in Wales into the 21st century.
By attending the conference, you will engage in the core aspects of the personalising learning agenda and contribute to the debate on how we can re-think learning, leadership, support and experience for all students within the context of Wales. Keynote Speaker
The workshops will be complemented by a keynote from Professor Dylan Wiliam who will challenge and inspire you to take ideas back to school to redesign the education of the young people that you serve.
Originally from Cardiff, Dylan is now Deputy Director and Professor of Educational Assessment at the Institute of Education, University of London. Dylan’s recently published Embedding Formative Assessment Professional Development Training Pack is a result of a 10 year research programme. His work has particular relevance in Wales, as schools further develop strategies to implement the revised curriculum.
