iNet Holland was launched in June 2005 at the 2nd iNet international conference in Amsterdam. There are now over 100 schools in the country affiliated to iNet.
In April 2007 iNet and the European Platform for Dutch Education (responsible for supporting the international aspect of Dutch education) formally agreed to work together to enable schools in Holland and other iNet networks to form partnerships and work together to transform education.
Linking with a school gives many opportunities, including study tours, and the sharing of information, skills and ideas. It can also give your students valuable experience of another culture.
iNet and the European Platform can help you find a partner school in Holland with shared interests and objectives. We can also help with arranging initial visits to each others' schools.

In May 2008 Tim from Over Betuwe College completed a one-week work experience with SSAT. During the week, Tim worked with different teams at the SSAT including iNet and visited Barking Abbey School in Barking. In his report he writes about some of the similarities and differences.
