Chile

During 2005 and 2006, iNet Chile concentrated on setting the stage for innovation networking for over 40 schools who belong to iNet. Two highly successful Leadership Festivals were held, which brought together international and Chilean distinguished academics and practitioners.

The goal for iNet Chile over the coming years is to build the capacity of our member schools, whatever their starting point, to travel the journey from improvement to transformation and personalising learning. Liceo Santiago Escuti Orrego - a member of iNet - recently became the first municipal school in Chile to achieve the prestigious Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Certification Award. To help all our members to achieve similar success, we will offer the following:

• Decentralised and hands-on leadership festivals and workshops; 
• Contextualised toolkits and publications;
• International ESOL CPD;
• Spanish-language online conferences and exchanges of best practices;
• Principal Steering Groups with business links;
• More international partnerships and exchange;
