Founded in 1954, Beijing No.57 is one of Beijing’s public schools. It is located in Haidian District - the most distinguished educational district in Beijing – in a campus with a beautiful environment and a rich cultural atmosphere. The school has over 2000 students in more than 40 classes, and students tend to gain excellent marks and praise from all areas of society. The school holds many prestigious titles:

We have collaborated well with our partner school - The Leigh City Technology College – in setting up the Towards Olympics project. We have completed our school profile in the online Uniservity platform and a number of students have joined the program. We are organizing a number of student clubs based on different interests, and students will be able to use the online community to carry out activities after their school time.

As both Beijing No.57 and Leigh CTC both excel in art and drama, we aim to increase our exchanges in these areas. Also, as we have very advanced video conferencing facilities, we aim to use video conferencing with our partner school to enhance English and Chinese studies in the future.
