Professor Brian J. Caldwell is Managing Director of Educational Transformations Pty Ltd in Melbourne and Associate Director of iNet, which he helped establish. From 1998 to 2004 he served as Dean of Education at the University of Melbourne, where he is currently Professorial Fellow. His previous appointments include a number of posts in universities across the world.

International work over the last 25 years includes more than 400 assignments in 35 countries, on behalf of a wide range of organisations. He currently sits on a number of national and international education advisory boards.
